WORKING PRINCIPLE
It is in the form of two intertwined glass pipes. The outer surface of the inner tube is covered with a selective coating that absorbs the sun's rays at a very high rate. The rays entering from the outer tube are absorbed by the selective surface at a rate of 93%, but are reflected outside at a rate of 7%. The space between the two glass tubes also prevents the heat energy accumulated on the selective surface from escaping by convection.
